Specialist relocation for Wellington sites
Moving high-density storage is mostly planning. Where does the stock go while the bays come down? Which door takes a three-metre track section? Is the new floor flat enough to carry the loaded weight? We answer those questions at survey stage rather than on the day.
That preparation is why Wellington projects rarely overrun. Across Somerset we regularly complete a full dismantle, move and reinstall inside one working day, and where access is only possible out of hours we simply work evenings or the weekend instead.

Wellington and the Vale of Taunton
Wellington's industrial estates around Junction 26 hold manufacturing and distribution shelving, while the town centre contributes school, surgery and professional-office archive systems. The M5 access makes larger vehicles workable here, so full-run relocations can be loaded in one pass rather than shuttled.
The recurring technical issue in this area is legacy systems — 1980s and 1990s hand-wheel runs where parts are long out of production. We measure carriages and track profiles at survey, identify what can be reconditioned, and source or fabricate the small number of components that cannot be reused, so the relocated system passes its post-installation PUWER inspection rather than limping through.
