London relocations carry real costs that don't apply elsewhere: ULEZ, the Congestion Charge, restricted loading bays and night-only access at many City addresses. Plan around them and a London move is no more painful than a Manchester one.
ULEZ & Congestion
Our entire fleet is ULEZ-compliant โ no daily charge passed on. Congestion Charge applies if any part of the work crosses central zones during charging hours; we sometimes save it entirely by scheduling the move overnight.
Loading-bay reality
City of London and Westminster bays are heavily restricted; many addresses only allow goods movement 6pmโ7am. We pre-survey loading windows on every London project and time the operation to suit.
Lift access
If the system is above ground floor, the goods lift is the limiting factor. We measure the lift on survey and break the system into lift-sized modules before transport.
Out-of-hours surcharge
Yes, night work costs more โ typically 15โ25%. But it's almost always cheaper than the daytime cost of disrupted staff and blocked corridors. Compare both options before booking.
