Discovery
- Manufacturer and approximate age of system
- Number of bays, run length, shelf levels
- Mechanical-assist or manual?
- Photos of end panels, controls and tracks
Origin site
- Postcode and floor level
- Lift dimensions and weight limit
- Access route — door widths, corridor turns, ramp angles
- Parking restrictions, congestion zones, ULEZ
Destination site
- Floor loading certificate (kN/m²)
- Floor flatness — current FM2 / FM3?
- Available run length and ceiling height
- Power requirements (mechanical-assist only)
Stock & timeline
- Who is removing stock and when?
- Required completion date
- Out-of-hours / weekend constraints
- Sign-off and PUWER certificate recipient
